How to make a double root stock plant

The features and benefits of double root stock or multiple root stock technology was thoroughly discussed by Bernie Dizon at our home page . However, if you want your plant to bear fruit in the shortest possible time. Another process is involved. We will discuss that in our next page under "GRAFTING".

Patience is a virtue that we develop in planting, nurturing, experimenting on how we can  produce quality plants. It may take 2 to 3 years from germination, before we can have a material ready for making a double, triple or even multiple root stock.

Double or triple root stock is making two or three plants become one, through the process of in-arching.

Watch the video at the "Grafting" page and you will see the same process on how in-arching is done.

It will take 3- 4 months depending on how tight and how perfectly fit the cut you have made in making your double or triple root stock.

The last stage of the process is grafting your double root stock or triple root stock to a mother plant as shown in the video at the grafting page. By grafting your double root stock or triple root stock to a matured fruit bearing mother plant, you will now  have a fruit bearing double root stock plant or tree. No need to wait for years to yield fruit from this tree!
